Bush is Bad

No, this production is not a spin-off of The Vagina Monologues. It's a comedic musical poking fun at our very own infantile president whom we've all come to know and love: George Dubya. Rosenblum's new musical revue, whose full title is Bush is Bad: The Musical Cure for the Blue-State Blues, mocks Dubya's presidency with its hilarious lyrics and upbeat score. The titles of the songs alone are enough to elicit a chuckle: "How Can 59 Million People Be So Dumb?" and "Good Conservative Values." Don't miss out on this three-person comedy tour de force that's about as unbiased as Fox News.

Medea

Ever been in one of those relationships where your husband just isn't grateful enough when you kill people? So when you find out he wants to marry a younger woman, you kill her, her father, and your own children? Ever have one of those? Medea, adapted and directed by Alfred Preisser, is currently playing in Harlem's Classical Theatre. It stars April Thompson as Medea, and The Cosby Show's Earle Hyman as Kreon. For people who like to play hard-to-get-rid-of.

• Classical Theatre of Harlem • Thu.-Sat. 8 p.m. • Sun. 3 p.m. • Thru 10/23 • $35

I Eat Pandas with Friends

Fusing musical theater with improvisation, I Eat Pandas with Friends combines chest-heaving songs with ridiculous comedic antics-lacking the inevitable awkward moments you get at most improv shows, this improvised musical theater will cramp even the most tone-deaf viewer's stomach with laughter. The audience controls the action, with whichever word they suggest inspiring the comedians to create their own sick world, ranging from dystopia to airplanes. With the energy of a ritalin-starved little kid and on-the-spot thinking that would rival even the most proficient liar, IEPWF is a show that both musical enthusiasts and comedy-lovers will enjoy.

• UCB Theater • Sat. 10/1 • 10:30 p.m. • $10
