A Harlem teenager was arrested over the weekend after turning himself in for the murder of a Columbia Library technician, police said.

Jaquan White, 17, allegedly entered Aroma Chinese Restaurant late last Tuesday night with an accomplice who is still at large and shot and killed 39-year-old Malik Murray.

White is being charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police have not yet released information about a motive in the shooting, but according to the New York Daily News, they were investigating whether the shooting followed an attempted robbery.

White, who lived just blocks away from the victim, has been arrested in the past for selling marijuana and gun possession, according to the Daily News.

Murray served for almost 10 years as a technician overseeing photocopy machines at the Arthur Diamond Law Library, and was described by coworkers as a family man who had plans to open up a mosque.
