In Focus: ROTC

In recent months, the question of allowing ROTC back on campus has been a highly contested and popular topic of conversation. Spectator Opinion has received numerous submissions debating the issue, and this Tuesday we are featuring two pieces that highlight especially different perspectives. Noah Baron, as a gay American, argues that a return of ROTC will alienate the LGBT community. Peter Meijer, as a former student at the U.S. Military Academy, argues that ROTC will foster a deeper understanding between the University and the military.
