Four students from Columbia’s Master of Arts Program in Climate and Society spoke on climate change Monday evening at the 113th Street branch of the New York Public Library. The workshop, given to a small audience composed mostly of non-Columbia-affiliated neighborhood residents, focused not only on the science behind climate change, but also on how best to discuss the issue with those who are skeptical. Here the presenters show the stop sign they used to illustrate the points that should be made if such a discussion might arise.
