After a Monday-night rules violation complaint regarding moratorium, James Bogner, CC '10 and elections board director, said that the Clear Party is out of trouble.

Bogner said that the elections board—with the exception of himself to avoid a conflict of interest—and CCSC President George Krebs adjudicated regarding a complaint against the Clear Party, a contender for 2010 class council. They "ruled that there was not sufficient evidence presented by The Party to prove that the Clear Party, 'encouraged, requested or solicited' according to the Candidate Rules and Regulations, the support of those making changes to their Facebook page," Bogner wrote in an e-mail. The Clear Party won't be disqualified from the elections, which last until 7 p.m. tonight.

"The Elections Board worked into the early morning to reach a decision," Bogner said. "Both they and George should be thanked for their diligence and service."
