Yet another court date came and went for associate professor Lionel McIntyre on Tuesday with no answers to show for it. The case has now been adjourned until Sept. 28.
McIntyre allegedly punched School of the Arts production manager Camille Davis last November at the bar Toast at 125th Street and Broadway, and is facing an assault charge.
A spokesperson for the Manhattan district attorney's office said that "nothing happened" at the June 15 court date other than the case being adjourned. This comes after the case was adjourned in January and again in March.
A temporary order of protection for Davis was extended for the sixth time as well.
McIntyre, the Nancy and George Rupp associate professor of community development in the urban planning program of the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, did not respond to multiple requests for comment. The number listed for his office at the University is no longer working.
McIntyre has served as the director of GSAPP's Urban Technical Assistance Program, which supports urban improvement projects in New York City. In March, Tirinda Hixon, a project coordinator with UTAP, said that McIntyre now works from both New York and New Orleans.
