The Light Blue (9-22, 3-5 Ivy) continues its conference schedule with four games against Cornell (16-15, 7-1 Ivy) this weekend. The Big Red is coming off two mid-week losses to Syracuse in which Cornell was outscored by a total of 18-2. But the Big Red has dominated conference play and is tied with Harvard for first place in the league, primarily thanks to its clutch power hitting. Cornell leads the league in home runs with 33, while the Lions only have six this season, two of which came during the Lions’ sweep of Dartmouth last weekend. Columbia’s pitchers will need to shut down sophomore infielder Lauren Bucolo and senior infielder Erin Keene, who have each hit six home runs this season. Both Saturday’s and Sunday’s games will be at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in Ithaca, N.Y.
