“The Tyranny of Opinion,” written by Pablo Piccato, associate professor of history at Columbia, recounts an 1894 dispute between two politicians over a woman’s love.
On Wednesday evening, Faust discussed her latest book, “This Republic of Suffering: Death and the American Civil War.”
