We don't know exactly when Bussola Annex opens, because it seems to open at a different time every Saturday. The sign says noon, but sometimes the lady who sells the gelato (she's the only one you will ever see in Bussola) stumbles in after two. And sometimes they have only four flavors.
The parmesan perfume envelops you first. Before you can begin to wonder where that salty, slightly divine smell comes from (it's from the 98-pound drum of reggiano cheese lying open on the marble countertop) your eyes are overwhelmed by the visual density of Dipalo's 250 square feet.
