Columbia volleyball finished at 16-13, but the team's biggest victory might have been the experience it gained in a season that included a trip to California and its second Ivy win in the last four years.

Columbia's men's and women's track team celebrated Valentine's Day early this year by taking part in the Saint Valentine's Invitational at Boston University last weekend. The meet did not tally any team scores, but the Lions had strong showings by several runners.
It is hard to tell just how good the Columbia Track and Field squad is going to be in this early part of the 2001 season.
