If sour-faced Barbie dolls padded down a runway wearing shapeless sacks, they’d easily recreate Anne Bowen’s Spring 2008 fashion show. With shapeless frocks sheer enough to reveal each model’s black thong, the collection somehow managed to be both trashy and dowdy. The one passable, though highly unoriginal, item was a long ivory wedding dress with a bubble hem.  Too bad the free glass of rose champagne wasn’t nearly enough to dull the senses.
