Fashion week is always overrun with jaded fashionistas and short tempers, so it’s a relief to take a break for once and come together for a good cause. Benefitting the Dress for Success organization, the show started off with an introduction by the late Charles Schulz’s wife and went on to include innovative looks from designers such as Isaac Mizrahi, Heatherette, and Liz Claiborne.

While some of the looks were over the top, including a fur coat with miniature Snoopy’s on each sleeve, many were practical while still managing to channel the Peanuts crew, such as a great Jason Wu cocktail dress with a blue pashmina in the vein of Linus, and a great girl with her hair faux-hawked to imitate Woodstock. However, the most easily recognizable Snoopy-inspired design, the Charlie Brown stripe, was also the most interesting, popping up on everything from a great suit complete with a “Good Grief” tee to a women’s black sweater by Spijkers + Spijkers.
