Alexander Terekhov’s spring 2008 collection for Terexov was a perfect balance between structured and feminine, reminiscent of vintage Calvin Klein. The color scheme, as in many of the shows thus far, was muted and metallic, featuring numerous dresses in faded pinks, purples, and grays.  Body-skimming skirts and dresses were cinched with belts to define the waist. While a few lingerie-inspired looks fell flat, the eveningwear was generally stunning. Intricate folds and strategically placed pockets and buttons offered a streamlined version of last year’s nautical and military trends. Pretty poufs, tiers, and ruffles in all the right places also added a touch of glamour. The sexiest body parts this season seem to be the decolletage and shoulders, as the most interesting parts of most dresses and outerwear were the collars and open backs.
