Tuleh designer Bryan Bradley is known for designing clothing embraced by New York’s uptown girls. Last season he showed a luxe collection designed to suit his patrician clientele’s daily lifestyle. For the spring season, he showed a collection that works in the office, on weekends in the Hamptons, and summer escapes to Saint-Tropez. There were plenty of light-weight coats, all cropped at the elbow or above in a variety of prints and colors. Suits in Crayola colors like grass green and blood orange and fluid, wide-leg silk pants with high-necked blouses served as appropriate work-wear. Then the looks shifted to nighttime chic, with tiered cocktail dresses, many pleated and adorned with roses or rhinestone belts. The collection finished with sheer beach cover-ups and evening wear, both stunning enough for a grand entrance. The models’ hair, like the clothing, was big and showy, teased and tousled to perfection. Bradley’s clothing certainly isn’t for the homebody or the reserved, but for bold girls who want to get noticed. Or at least get their photos taken.
