The Double Discovery Center has appointed Teachers College alumna Kecia Hayes as its new executive director, Columbia College announced Thursday morning.
The DDC hosts programs that help low-income and first-generation youths in the Harlem community pursue opportunities in higher education. Reaching approximately 1,000 students each year, the DDC provides tutoring, test prep, and college counseling, among other services.
