Stringer, CU Reach Accord on M’Ville

Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer has announced that he and Columbia have reached an agreement regarding the University’s West Harlem expansion plan, indicating that Stringer will vote to approve the plan. Tomorrow at 1 p.m., President Bollinger and Stringer will hold a joint press conference at Stringer’s City Hall office. According to the press release, their agreement balances “community concerns with the goals of Columbia’s proposed expansion,” but no details of the agreement have been released.
