Man Falls Into 10-Foot Trench
A construction worker was trapped in a trench hole at the Morningside Park playground reconstruction site Friday, local newspapers reported.
After the accident occurred at around 8 a.m. on the site at 116th Street, a fellow construction crew member called 9-1-1. NYPD and FDNY officers rushed to rescue the worker from the 10-foot hole, where he was covered in dirt up to his chest. The worker suffered no fatal injuries, but was immediately brought to St. Luke’s Hospital. The 30-year-old man is conscious and now in stable condition.
The $2 million playground renovation project at Morningside Park, one of the four designated historic parks of Harlem, has been secured and will re-open this week.

I would like to know what type of construction work was being done to create this 10' "hole" and if proper OSHA regulations where in place reguarding the shoring as well as a means of access and egress where provided for workers. Also if the man was burried to his chest was him falling imto the trench the resault of a cave in?
Umm I would like to know where you learned to spell? Obviously there was improper work going on or he would not have just fallen in, but again where did you learn how to spell?
