Calling all devil hunters! Devil May Cry 4, the sequel to 2004’s hard-as-nails Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, hits stores next week, but you can get a taste of this incredibly fast-paced—and stylish—action game right now on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network. The demo gives players control of Nero, the series’ new protagonist who bears more than a striking resemblance to DMC3’s Dante, for a brief 10-minute gameplay snippet and a boss battle. Experiment with new game mechanics as you build combos and wail on helpless enemy demons—and, of course, look great while doing it. There’s not a ton of content here, but it’ll whet your whistle for the game’s Feb. 5 release. Check Spectator in the coming weeks for a full review.
