The game was unlike anything seen before—crazy wire-frame style graphics, techno and electronica music that modulated based on how you played, and, wildly enough, an included peripheral called the “trance vibrator,” a little square device that simulated the effect of being in front of a huge speaker at a club. Sega has remade the game using full high-definition graphics and digital surround sound for Xbox Live Arcade—and it’s an incredible experience that no one should miss. The game plays like a mix of StarFox and Guitar Hero, which sounds complicated but is actually pretty relaxing. At only 800 MS Points ($10), Rez HD makes the perfect downloadable game.
