Missed the real thing at Studio B this summer? Want Daft Punk to play at your house? Catch Faux Punk, Daft Punk cover DJs who are recreating the “Love” tour at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The venue promises, “Faux Punk will perform on stage, in a mini-pyramid, with lots of lights and a whole lot more silly surprises!!!” How can that not be fun?

Saturday, March 8
Apparently following the Notorious B.I.G. mantra “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems,” this B.I.G. tribute is free with RSVP. It’s 21+, so sorry, young fans of classic hip-hop——this event to honor “the greatest rapper out of Brooklyn” is not for you. Everyone else, get there early and get a free “Best of Biggie” mix CD. Dress code is enforced, so no hats, sneakers, hoodies, or T-shirts. Keep it classy, folks!

Monday, March 10
Ohmyrockness, that beacon of indie hope, puts on a twee pop and dance show featuring Videohippos and Hanne Hukkelberg. There’s no way to promise that it will be better than studying for midterms, but it’s worth a shot.

Tuesday, March 11
The pièce de résistance of dance music this week, Justice and DJ Mehta, are playing at Madison Square Garden with Busy-P. The show is super expensive, but it could be worth it to get your groove on during midterms.
