Over the Wire

PUBLISHED APRIL 17, 2008

As the saying goes, April 17 was a good time for all gamers to start their digital engines with the release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on the PlayStation Network. Though GT5P is just a taste of the full GT5 package that should see release sometime early next year, it certainly isn’t light on features—but, replete with over 60 cars and eight tracks, the game isn’t really light on the wallet either ($39.99 either downloadable through the online store or available on Blu-Ray Disc at any local electronics store). Still, the game’s graphics are absolutely spectacular, capturing the look and feel of some of the world’s hottest cars like never before. Now with online play, GT5P is the type of game you could sink hundreds of hours into. Stick your key in the ignition and let ’er rip!
