Hormann Goes Undrafted, Signs With Browns

PUBLISHED APRIL 28, 2008

The Ivy League was not expected to have any players selected in the NFL Draft on Saturday and Sunday, and indeed, not a single player of the 252 chosen was from the Ancient Eight.

According to ESPN.com, however, Columbia senior quarterback Craig Hormann was contacted by the Cleveland Browns organization not long after the draft concluded and agreed to terms to sign with the team as an undrafted free agent.

The SEAS senior started all 10 games for the Lions this season, completing 215 passes for 2,505 yards and 12 touchdowns.
