How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Columbia

PUBLISHED AUGUST 29, 2006

Welcome to Columbialand: We know, we know; it doesn't get any more awkward than orientation. You've already asked your new "friends" about their favorite philosophers and garage bands, but you still have four hours to fill before you can safely say you need some sleep. An uncomfortable silence descends.

We wanted to ease the pain a little, so we've put together the first-ever Columbia board game. It's easy, it's something to do, and you might just learn a thing or two about how this big, complicated place works. So, convince your orientation leader to buy you a 12-pack, move that pile of cardboard boxes, and find some extra coins. It'll be more fun than standing outside frat row all night trying to figure out what to do. We promise.
