Fix-It

Last week, Fix-It raised complaints about Lerner Hall's removal of the computer kiosk outside of Café 212. According to Maxwell Seales, assistant venue manager at Lerner, Lerner management has no plans to return the computers. "I won't say it's permanent, but for the time being, that's how it is," Seales said. "People need to figure out that this is how policy rolls."

This week, we find that the only handicap-accessible shower on the third floor of Reid Hall is broken. According to the floor's RA, Eva Peskin, BC '09, the shower has been broken since she moved in at the beginning of the year. Peskin said that officials from Barnard Facilities told her that the shower was "beyond repair," although they recently fixed another shower in the bathroom with a collapsing ceiling. "I think they have it on the 'never bother' list," Peskin said.

If you see anything on campus that needs to be fixed, let us know at specnews@columbia.edu.
