This week, we find that the dryers in East Campus regularly fail to dry clothes, even after repeated runs. "You have to block four hours in your day to do laundry, and no one has that kind of time," said Shari Lichter, BC '09, who lives in East Campus. Lichter said that the defective dryers were a serious drain on time and money, recalling one Friday evening when she found her load sopping wet but was unable to run the dryer again due to her observance of the Sabbath.
