The Columbia men’s and women’s cross country teams both started off their season this Saturday with runner-up finishes at the Wolfie Invitational hosted by Stony Brook University.
The men’s performance this weekend indicates they will remain a team to watch as they hope to replicate last year’s success, which earned them a program-high national ranking at No. 18 coming into the 2013 season. Read More >>

Though they lost only one game, women’s soccer (2-2-1) will return to Morningside from the University of North Florida Tournament in Jacksonville, Fla., winless in its two weekend matches.
In the first contest Friday night against Florida Atlantic University (2-1-1), the Owls benefited from the Light Blue’s second-half foibles to prevail 2-1. Junior Alexa Yow’s header gave Columbia the lead at the 19-minute mark and the defense did the rest from there, holding the Owls scoreless for nearly an hour of play. Read More >>
