Women's basketball seeks elusive Ivy wins against Yale and Brown

    Ward-ing off the enemy | Senior guard Taylor Ward has been averaging 9.3 points per game this season for the Lions.

This weekend, Columbia women’s basketball will host two Ivy League opponents. After splitting their two-game series with Cornell (9-7, 1-1 Ivy), the Lions (4-12, 1-1 Ivy) will take on Yale (8-8, 2-0 Ivy) on Friday, attempting to hand the Bulldogs their first conference loss. The following day, the Light Blue will face Brown (6-10, 0-2 Ivy). Columbia is looking to continue its two-game winning streak against the Bears, dating back to last season. Both games tip off at 7 p.m. in Levien Gym.
