Sophomore Joey Falcone hit a walk-off two run home run in the first game against Penn to help the Lions clinch the Lou Gehrig Division on Friday.
The Lions, the champions of the Lou Gehrig Division of the Ivy League, have totaled a program-record 16 victories on the season.
With two wins against Penn on Friday, the Light Blue baseball team clinched the Lou Gehrig division title, marking the third time since 2008 that the Lions will compete for the conference championship.
Columbia swept its series with Penn to secure home field advantage in the Ivy League Championship Series next weekend.

The Light Blue leapt out to first place in the Lou Gehrig division with a 4-0 weekend against the Bulldogs and Bears.
