Four armed men broke into a Columbia graduate student apartment late Monday night and assaulted and robbed a tenant, landing the tenant in St. Luke's Hospital.
Associate professor Lionel McIntyre, who allegedly assaulted a University employee in November, appeared in criminal court on Jan. 26 for pretrial proceedings.
After being charged by the police, associate professor Lionel McIntyre's assault case is still pending.
UPDATE (6:30 p.m.): One of the attacks committed early Sunday morning included sexual assault, according to a spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
The trial of Robert Williams, the 31-year-old man accused of raping and torturing a student of the Graduate School of Journalism last year, began Thursday with an opening statement by the prosecution.
A graduate student was assaulted and robbed Tuesday afternoon in Morningside Park, near West 121st Street.
Leilani Nicole Adams, GS, was assaulted yesterday at a local Duane Reade.
