We’ve had our good and our bad times this semester. We’ve done a lot of griping—and often for a good reason. But, against the spirit of finals, we’d like to talk about some good things that happened this semester. (And forgive us our snark.)
A proposal for a postseason Ivy League basketball tournament has already received mixed responses from coaches and administrators.
Columbia is beginning to plan for a new sports center at the Baker Athletic Complex.
There are few events that fomented a greater sense of school spirit among Columbia students than Midnight Mania. Even so, the Athletic Department canceled the annual pep rally because it did not boost attendance at basketball games.
While it took Columbia University Athletics 155 years to induct its first class to the Columbia University Athletics Hall of Fame, it took just two to induct the second one.
