Corey Ortega joined with local political figures and nonprofit partners on Saturday to celebrate the grand opening of his newly formed West Harlem Progressive Democratic Club.
Within the next few weeks, Ortega plans to declare his candidacy for the City Council’s 9th District seat, which is being vacated by Robert Jackson next year. First, he talked to Spectator about his priorities for the district.
