The committee to revamp Frontiers of Science should follow the EPPC's recommendations.
The EPPC's report on Frontiers does not fully address several concerns which surround a general science course.
In a long-awaited report, the Educational Policy and Planning Committee has recommended eliminating the lecture portion of Frontiers of Science and rebuilding the course around its small seminars.
CCSC held a town hall Sunday night for students to discuss Frontiers of Science, amid a renewed push by faculty to update the course based on student feedback and better integrate it into the Core.
For fall 2012, the editorial board has a list of topics we will keep our eyes on.
The voice of the Columbia faculty needs an outlet.
The Policy and Planning Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences is in the process of putting together the Educational Policy and Planning Committee, as recommended in 2009.
