An unidentified individual stabbed two males aboard an uptown 1 train as it passed through the 110th Street subway station Monday afternoon. The attack, which occurred around 4 p.m., did not involve any Columbia or Barnard students, according to Barnard Public Safety supervisor Garrett Doherty.

On Saturday, I rode 22 of New York’s 25 subway lines, excluding the B, V, and W, which don’t run on weekends. What follows are some of the trip’s highlights.
