Aiming our Activism

It’s not that we’re apathetic or ignorant. We want the war to stop. We want affordable health care. We want the campus to expand responsibly. We want a Core Curriculum that reflects the diversity and nuance of the society in which we are expected to function. All of those things are important to us, but how can our actions truly effect change?

DNC Chair Speaks in Low

Howard Dean, GS ’75—former Governor of Vermont, 2004 presidential candidate, and current chair of the Democratic National Committee—spoke about student activism and the 2008 presidential election at Low Library on Monday.

Dems to Host Dean in February

The College Democrats received confirmation Wednesday from the Democratic National Committee that they will be the first College Democrats chapter in the country to host DNC chairman Howard Dean.
