Three undefeated teams sit atop Ancient Eight

After another weekend of meets, Princeton, Yale, and Harvard are the only women’s swimming and diving teams that remain undefeated in the Ivy League. Princeton secured its fourth win over Dartmouth on Sunday, while Harvard topped Brown on Saturday. Yale was not triumphant this past weekend, losing to Navy, but still remain undefeated within the league.

M. Tennis returns home to host Brown, Yale

Ranked No. 57, the men’s tennis team will return home to the Dick Savitt Tennis Center to host Brown and No. 60 Yale in two Ivy matches this weekend. Columbia (13-4, 3-0 Ivy) is undefeated at home this season: 5-0 in nonconference play and 1-0 in Ivy play, with a 4-3 win against Cornell. Columbia is coming off a dramatic 4-3 win against rival Harvard on Friday, in which three freshmen in the bottom half of the lineup got crucial wins in singles play.

Tennis seeks revenge for heartbreaking losses

Columbia has had this date circled for a long time. The men’s tennis team (11-4, 1-0 Ivy) will be looking to avenge two recent defeats at the hands of Harvard (8-7, 0-0 Ivy). The first came in February in the ECAC Championship finals, where the Crimson dealt the Lions a heartbreaking 4-3 loss.
