Exclusion of Google Docs avoids ADA challenges

The University’s negotiations with Google lasted a year, largely because of concerns over the ADA compliance. They come on the heels of a complaint filed in March by the NFB against New York University and Northwestern University.

I am the typical college student. I work hard, study hard, have great friends, but unlike most of my classmates, I’m deaf. I am actively involved in the New York deaf community, but I find that the social accommodations for deaf people at Columbia are seriously lacking.
