Campus Cut
'Campus Cut' is a column about film life at Columbia. Look out for it
every other Thursday to get information on how to get into the
Columbia film scene, rent free equipment, and show your films to an
audience wider than your parents. Frances Bodomo—a senior and a film
studies major—has done the grunt work so that you don't have to: from
applying for Gatsby Grants to learning the hard way how to book spaces
on campus and off, she's pretty much done it all and has her battle
scars to prove it. This semester she'll be focusing on how to go from
pre-production to production, and make a noteworthy short film without
dishing out the dollars. Because, with the resources available to us
as Columbians, it can be done!
