You think the snow's been miserable for you? We guarantee it was worse for this little guy: according to DNAInfo, a "jade, tangerine, scarlet and azure bird" – thought to be a peach-faced lovebird, native to sunny Africa – was found yesterday mysteriously adrift in the unforgiven arctic wastelands of Morningside Heights after a passerby noticed a "series of short, high pitched chirps" that seemed to be a call for help.more Thankfully, a "Good Samaritan student at Columbia" was able to rush the freezing flyer to a local vet. Unfortunately, we still know very little about the life story of our mysterious feathered fugitive. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forth; alternatively, leave your best theories in the comments.
