Over two hours after Qahwah House began serving coffee and tea on Low Plaza on Friday afternoon, a line of eventgoers still stretched from the cafe’s table down to the Sundial.

Hundreds of students, community members, and visitors gathered on Low Plaza on Saturday for Spectator and Columbia College Student Council’s Free Food Expo. Held for the first time since 2019, the expo featured a range of local restaurants and vendors handing out free samples from their menus to lines of eager attendees.
