Becoming a knitwear designer may not be the typical path for a mechanical engineering graduate. But Aisling Camps, SEAS ’08, is striving for more than typical with her blossoming knitwear brand. Her creativity and precision have followed her from The Makerspace @ Columbia to the design studio.

Hundreds of vintage enthusiasts gathered in Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion last weekend for a chance to score some vintage denim, fur coats, archival couture dresses, and hundreds of other curated vintage pieces. They were there for the Manhattan Vintage Show, a triannual showcase of vintage dealers co-led by Ronen Glimer, CC ’96.
