No matter the winners at last weekend's Emmys, I knew on Sunday night that I would be compelled to reflect on the awards show. As much as I enjoy the Emmys, there was really one main category that I was especially interested in: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. At first glance, Claire Danes seemed the clear favorite for her depiction of Carrie Mathison in "Homeland." Even running against juggernauts Elisabeth Moss ("Mad Men") and Robin Wright ("House of Cards"), Danes looked like the frontrunner (and did win).
