Instead of the usual gallery full of canvases covered in unmoving charcoal or paint, EO1 Beta Showcase focuses on a new, technological way of connecting with art. Three diverse designers created GIFs and static images that will be displayed on Electric Objects' EO1, a high-definition screen that aims to bring art into the home.

We all have different coping mechanisms for this exhausting pre-Thanksgiving period when everyone has papers to write, presentations to prepare, and problem sets to complete—all while the only thing worth thinking about is Thursday's dessert (I know it's not just me).

The week started out innocently enough. The last day of September greeted us with birds chirping, a winning men's soccer team, and reports of a new committee formed to revamp Frontiers (finally!). Life was good.

Our second day of classes is officially over. A clean start, right? New professors, new overpriced textbooks, and a renewed work ethic.
