Nussbaum and Wu closed on March 30 for health code violations, according to a sign on their door.

Bagel shop Nussbaum and Wu has closed temporarily for health code violations.

According to a sign posted on the door of Nussbaum and Wu, which is located at Broadway and 113th Street, the store closed on March 20 by the order of the commissioner of health and mental hygiene.

A representative of Nussbaum and Wu said that the store would be closed for two to three days.

While Nussbaum and Wu’s health restaurant inspection grade is not listed on the Department of Health’s website yet, restaurants who obtain more than 28 points in health violations are given a grade of C and may be required to close until the health violations are rectified. Fellow Morningside Heights bagel shop Absolute Bagels was similarly closed for a week in October after accruing 45 points.
