Local leaders are optimistic about a bill that limits landlords' power to evict

A new bill in the New York State Legislature, titled the Good Cause Eviction bill, could provide protections for tenants from eviction without good cause and provide relief from sharp rent increases in Morningside Heights and West Harlem.
