Legionnaires’ outbreak in Amsterdam Nursing Home sparks alarm in Morningside Heights community

Eight people have been infected with Legionnaires’ disease, of whom five have died, in Amsterdam Nursing Home. This has led to criticism about medical negligence and the upkeep of health standards of nursing homes in the city.
