Manhattan D.A. moves to vacate convictions associated with two West Harlem NYPD officers

Among the 188 convictions that were tossed, Manhattan DA Alvin L. Bragg moved to vacate convictions by Michael Carsey and William Eiseman, who were convicted of perjury and false-filing charges in 2011 and 2012. While advocacy organizations are supportive of the move, they believe more preventive action is required to reestablish the public’s trust in law enforcement.
