Heavy floods draw calls for better alert systems and new drainage systems in West Harlem

The flooding on Sept. 29 was some of the worst that the city has seen since Hurricane Ida.In West Harlem, Riverside Park experienced heavy flooding, and the 1, 2, and 3 lines were among the various trains shut down or delayed due to the flooding.
