New York Interfaith Commission proposes redevelopment of West Harlem Piers in letter to Columbia

In an effort to establish an economic and housing generator for the community, the commission called upon the University to release the historical Fairway properties.

The New York Interfaith Commission for Housing Equality proposed an entertainment ferry that would connect downtown audiences to Manhattan’s uptown piers at 125th Street and the Dyckman Waterfront.
