The University will invest $30 million into the School of General Studies to expand financial aid to high-need students and to plan for a “dedicated residential building for the School,” Dean Lisa Rosen-Metsch, GS ’90, and Executive Vice President of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Amy Hungerford
announced in a Thursday email to the General Studies community. The first funds were endowed this summer, and the remainder of the $30 million will be financed over the next three years.
