Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba spoke about his nation’s dedication to democracy during an address on Thursday as part of Columbia’s World Leaders Forum.

“With less than a year until its official opening, the Cheryl and Philip Milstein Teaching and Learning Center is entering its fourth and final phase of construction,” said Chief Operating Officer Rob Goldberg and Provost and Dean of the Faculty Linda Bell in a joint email sent to the Barnard community on Wednesday.

Directors from Furman Counseling Center, Primary Care Health Service, Well-Woman, and the Office of Disability Services attended Barnard Student Government Association’s weekly meeting Monday night to address student concerns about health care services in light of the Trump administration’s attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Barnard College Interim President and Chief Operating Officer Rob Goldberg cosigned a letter last week addressed to the Trump administration in support of students affected by the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy.

The Barnard Student Government Association will submit a proposal regarding eligibility for winter break housing to administrators in the coming weeks, with the goal of clarifying the policy for students.
